It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octave J. Folse Jr. of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Bayou Blue, Louisiana, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Octave J. "O. J." Folse; his parents-in-law, Joseph Landry and Barbara B. Landry; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Provost and Andy Landry.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Landry Folse; his mother Mary Ann Folse; his daughter Jenni Young (Jake); his stepdaughter Melissa Rodrigue; his grandchildren, Morgan Dennard, Gage Young and Savanna Ledet; his sisters, Trudy Bourque (Bobby) and Kerri LeBlanc (Jody); and his siblings-in-law, Kitty Landry and John Provost.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ALS Association or Team Gleason Foundation in Pookie's name and memory.
