He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria M. LLoyd; his parents, Lilly Lloyd, and Oliver Lloyd, Sr.; his son Oliver Carlton Lloyd; his stepdaughter Beryl Ann Kennedy; and his stepsisters, Eleria and Gloria Manson.
He is survived by: his children, Carlette Lloyd, Cheryl England-Sears (Jose), Royal Shelvy, Jr. and Ronald Shelvy (Angela); and his sisters, Eleanor M. Sheppard, Eddie May Kimble, Sharon Ann Breaux and Gail T. Lloyd. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
