She was predeceased by: her husband Freddie Davis, Jr.; her parents, Maggie Cooks Dabney and Charlie Jefferson; her children, Karl Jefferson and Rhonda Lee Jefferson; and her siblings, Alton Dabney and Mary Louise Spott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Williams (Perry), Valerie Gray (Authur) and Keri Williams (Michael); her sister Lucile Jefferson; and her goddaughter Nina Butler Johnson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (101 Brule Guillot Rd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
