Peggy Bowen Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 8, 2022, at the age of 84, Peggy Bowen Smith of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Darrell Smith; her son Darrell Lynn Smith; her parents, Edward Ray and Jesse Eldred "Becky" Bowen; and her siblings, A. L. Bowen, Blanche Goodson, Tom Bowen, Walter Bowen, Sade Bess Weeden, Joe Bowen, Jerry Bowen and Kathy Frith.
She is survived by: her children, Susann K. Smith, Patti Stamper and Terry Dale Smith (Mary); her grandchildren, Oliver Darrell Smith II (Vianey Smith), Bowen David Smith, Caleb Darrell Stamper, Kory Dalton Stamper, Jessi Natahnee Stamper, Cheyenne Gabrielle White and Jennifer Gomez Ferreris; and her sister Barbara Ruth Nichols. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Peggy's honor to Hail Mary Rescue, ASPCA, or an animal shelter of your choice.
