It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Preston Ponvelle Sr. (Thibodaux, Louisiana), who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ponvelle; his parents, Edward Ponvelle and Julia Ponvelle; and his brother Thomas Ponvelle. He is survived by: his children, Penny Ponvelle Lentz (Michael Lentz), Preston Ponvelle Jr. (Lynette Ponvelle), Paula Terracina (Gary Terracina) and Peter Ponvelle (Joy Ponvelle); his grandchildren, Stephen Webre, Casey Ponvelle (Kaylynn Rivere), Joshua Terracina (Fallon Terracina), Britany Ponvelle (Carson Callahan), Courtney Walker (Matthew Walker), Nigel Terracina (Abigail Falcon) and Anthony Ponvelle; and his great grandchildren, Madison Terracina, Mallory Terracina and Silas Ponvelle.
