He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Chenier Ledet; and his parents, John Ledet and Enola Ledet. He is survived by: his daughter Melina Ledet Cooper (Mark); his grandchildren, Matthew Ledet (Gretchen), Courtney Ledet Thompson (Allen), Savannah Ledet Folse and Jordan Ledet Folse; and his brother Michael "Mike" Ledet (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
