He is survived by: his wife Lesley Wharton Marcello; his daughters, Elizabeth Wharton Marcello Fabrega (Gus) of Lawton, OK and Margaret Johnson Marcello Petersen (Tim) of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Caroline Fabrega, William, Michael and Matthew Petersen; his siblings, Gaynell Boudreaux (Marc), Jane Bernard (Steve) and Donald Marcello (Marie); his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Bernard, Jennifer Jones, Julie Harris, Jonathan Boudreaux, Philip Bernard, Joseph Marcello, Gabrielle Guilbeaux, Joey and Andy Wharton; and his in-laws, Priscilla Wharton of Goldsboro, NC, Ann Shull (Dick) of Landisburg, PA and John Wharton (Amy) of Charlottesville, VA..
