With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Paul Adams of Thibodaux, Louisiana, born in Napoleonville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Adams and Emelda Cavalier Adams; his daughter Monica Solar (Mike); and his siblings, Herbert Adams (Analie), Alice Martin (Wilbert), Alma Champagne (Philip), Bernice Percle (Nolan), Nolan Adams (Eunice), Herman Adams (Lois), Raymond Adams (Lois), Thomas Adams (Clara), Patsy Barras (Cyprien) and Anna Mae Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Hebert Adams; his children, Scott Adams (Kara), Jarrod Adams (Cathy), Billie Jo Landry (Brad), Chad Bourgeois (Belle) and Michael Bourgeois; his grandchildren, Kayla James (Leroy), Kirsten Adams, Matthew Klein, Madison Landry, Emily Landry and Jaxson Bourgeois; and his great grandchild Tobias James.
