He is survived by: his wife Lois Hebert Petrolia; his children, Tina Hebert, Tammy Petrolia, Richie Petrolia (Dawn) and Vicky Meadows (Phillip); his grandchildren, Chad Danos, Joshua Gaudet, Renee Thibodeaux (Adam), Devin Danos, Shane Danos, Jacob Gaudet (Andrea), Jay Danos, Britney Petrolia, Blake Petrolia, Jessica Petrolia, Grant Meadows (Rachelle) and Parker Meadows; his great grandchildren, Aniyah, Chloe, Mariah, Jolie, Jackson, Raven, Blaze, Graham, Mylah and Gracie; his great great grandchild Milani; his siblings, Samuel Petrolia, Jr., Barry Petrolia, Yola Jane Dufrene, Darlene Andras, Evelyn "Nonnie" Sanchez and Pamela Thibodaux; and his pet Toby. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (4690 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (120 LA-3185, Thibodaux, LA 70301).
