He is survived by: his wife Debra Legendre Chauvin; his son Wade P. Chauvin (Chrissy); his siblings, Michael Chauvin (Sheila), Ricky Chauvin (Charlene) and Gayle Chauvin Blanchard (Ronald); his grandchildren, Cade, Cole and Casy Chauvin; his parents-in-law, Kathy Pennison Legendre, Cheryl Adair, Dwayne Hebert, Bridget Oubre, Roland Hebert, Mark Legendre and Kyle Legendre; Roland Ellender Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
