He is survived by: his children, Samuel Ellis, Jr. (Amamphes Solet), Terrell Ellis (Ami), Rosalind Scott (Alvin), Tammy Triggs (Darrell, Sr.) and Rae Scott; and his siblings, Leroy (Joanne), Gregory (Daphne), Kevin Ellis, Sr., Mary Triggs (Ernest), Beverly Batiste (Robert) and Gwen Ellis. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
