She is survived by: her husband Ronald J. Cortez; her children, Ryan Cortez (Annette) and Tara Ledet (Dale); her grandchildren, Alyssa Creed, Demi Ledet, Natalie Ledet, Ashley Savoie, Holly Duet and Bethany Falgout; and her siblings, Elaine McDonald, Mark McDonald and Roy P. McDonald, Jr.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
