With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Trosclair (Thibodaux, Louisiana), born in Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Burton "Poto" Trosclair; her parents, Sidney Vaughn and Shirley Ponvelle; her stepfather Andrew Ponvelle; her brothers, Joe Vaughn and Raymond Vaughn; and her daughter-in-law Heidi Price Trosclair.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Trosclair (Samantha), Willis Trosclair (Ashley), Dwayne Trosclair (Lisa) and Tina Waithaka; her close friend Bradley Landry; and her siblings, Billy Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, Jason Ponvelle, Joyce Belote, Catherine Earl, Diane Borne, Peggy Vaughn and Martha Faye Rodrigue. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
