She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy J. Gagneaux, Jr. and Betty Navarre Gagneaux; her sister Angela Marie Gagneaux; and her pet Amos. She is survived by: her husband Russell "Rusty" Hymel, Jr.; her children, Monique Naquin (Reed) and Rae Lynn Angelette (Rocky); her stepchildren, Jon Hymel (Lauren) and Jordan Hymel (Kristen); her grandchildren, Carsen, Corynn Naquin, Dawson, Belle Angelette, Landon, Brynn Hymel, Colette and Lenni Hymel; and her siblings, Michael "Mike" Gagneaux (Mary) and Justine Stevens (Trey). She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Joseph Co-Cathedral (721 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301).
