It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Bednarz of Thibodaux, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Veronica Bednarz to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Battaglia and Marie Musso Battaglia; her brother John Battaglia; and her nephew Toby Battaglia. She is survived by: her husband Michael Bednarz; her children, Brian Bednarz and Michelle Bednarz Beauchamp (Chuck); her grandchildren, Erin Bednarz, Marie Beauchamp and Anthony Beauchamp; her brother Michael Battaglia (Gwen); and her sister-in-law Priscilla Naquin Battaglia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Co-Cathedral (721 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
