He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford C. Pittman and Joe Rene Pittman; his in-laws, Olden Bourgeois, Elaine Bourgeois Benoit and Linwood "Popedo" Benoit, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Larry "Buddy" Haw.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Bourgeois Pittman; his children, Angel Portier (Gregory), Jessica Pittman and Joshua Pittman (Kizzi); his grandchildren, Madison Portier and Rylan Portier; his great grandchild Dominic; and his siblings, Michael Pittman, Patricia Brue, Cynthia Haw, Joe Daigle and Marjorie Pittman.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church (720 Talbot Ave, Thibodaux, LA 70301). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
