He was predeceased by: his wife Sieglinde "Sigi" Ell Chiasson; his parents, Claude Chiasson and Louise Clement Chiasson; and his sisters, Lena Rodrigue, Ruth Robinson, Peggy Rodrigue, Thelma Folse and Velma Landry.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Womack (Mark), Renate Daigle (Stephen) and Karen Hebert (Chris); his grandchildren, Michael Womack (Kathryn), Christopher Womack, Lauren Talbot (Ben), Ryan Daigle (Haylie), Brooke Chauvin (Cullen) and Jaden Hebert; and his great grandchildren, Amos Womack, Caleb Womack, Lucia Womack, Adley Talbot, Molly Talbot, Eden Chauvin and Liberty Chauvin.
