He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Azema of Maryland; his parents, Lionel Azema and Olivia Johnson Azema; and his siblings, Lionel, Lawrence Azema, Mary Rose Mathews, Delores Fletcher, Victoria Brown, Jessie Mae Beamon, Geraldine Spencer, Audrey Mae Odom, Naomi Azemas-Harvey and Theresa Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Azema, Jr., Wendy A. Russ (Addison) and Wanda Azema-Watts; his sisters, Virginia Johnson, Olivia Wilson (Jerry) and Octavia Azema; his grandchildren, Willie Azema, III of Addison, Russ, Jr., Warner Russ and Hunter Azema; and his great grandchild Charli'Rayne Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
