He was predeceased by: his wife Joy H. Knight; his parents, Alfred Knight, Sr. and Effie M. Knight; his brothers, David Knight, Sr. and Alfred Knight, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Ray Hotard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Weller (Ted) and Melissa Knight; his granddaughters, Kassidy and Kadee Weller; his sisters, Margaret Thibodeaux (Gerald) and Theresa Levert (Theo); and his sisters-in-law, Louella Knight (Alfred) and Barbara Knight (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
