It is with sadness that the passing of Marvin Hernandez Jr. (Tickfaw, Louisiana) is shared. Marvin, born on March 18, 1977, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Harry and Lillie Hernandez; and his mother-in-law Sharon Magliolo. He is survived by: his wife Shana Magliolo Hernandez; his children, Olivia Hernandez and Hunter Hernandez (Amy); his parents, Marvin Sr. Hernandez and Carolyn Hernandez; his sister Ashley Hernandez; his niece Ava; his nephew Maddox; his great-nephew Michael; and his father-in-law Samuel Magliolo. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the River Church (11005 LA-442, Tickfaw, LA 70466). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Follow in S & S Cemetery.
