He is survived by: his wife Gale Broussard Atkinson; his sons, Robo Atkinson (Natalie) and Joshua Atkinson (Melissa); and his siblings, Dorothy Owens (Jerry), Steve Atkinson (Tootie), Jeanette Smith and Jackie Atkinson (Marilyn).
