He was predeceased by: his parents, June Knott and James Knott; his wife Patricia Knott; and his sister Cary Faye. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Jones (Jamie), Dianna Cornish and Kevin Knott; his grandchildren, Timothy Howell, Joshua Slocum (Kayla), Shelby Slocum Cornish, Jack Jones (Natalie), Joseph Slocum and Ella Jones; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Noah, Abby, Lakelynn, Evelyn, Daytona and Chloe; and his siblings, Yvonne Leilua and Ted Knott.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A burial will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at the Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery (14450 LA-442, Tickfaw, LA 70466).
