She was predeceased by: her husband Lucky Fontenot; her children, Ricky Fontenot and Robbie Payne; her parents, Cecil Johnson and Kittie Johnson; and her sisters, Bobbie, Cotten, Ethel Mae and Billie Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Fontenot (Paula), Monty Fontenot, Georgia Wells (Rodney) and Rhonda Johnson (Rodney); and her grandchildren, Susan Nasa, Henry Goudeau (Amanda), Mackenzie Turner, Justin Wells (Kelsie), Destiny Wells, Travis Johnson (Jackie), Timothy Johnson (Ashlyn), Alydia Fontenot (Gary), Ryan Fontenot (Nickki) and Kayla Fontenot. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home (3307 Monroe Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360).
