He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvina Riche Ducote and Neyland Ducote; and his siblings, Franklin Ducote, Edwin Ducote (Katherine), Robert Ducote, Barry Ducote, Althea Sterling, Neyland Ducote Jr., Roland Ducote, Katherine (R. J. Loupe) of Port Allen and Mildred (Milton Kent) of Denham Springs.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Webber Ducote; his children, Brett Ducote (Rhonda) of Tyler, TX and Rebecca Whittington (Cyril) of Eupora, MS; his stepchildren, Taft Kleinpeter (Ashley) and Kaley Carriere (John) of Maringouin; his grandchildren, Denton Ducote, Ardin Whittington, Shaye Whittington, Jordan Kleinpeter, Jared Kleinpeter (Lindsey), Jade Brazell (Tallyn), Alyse Carriere (Gage), Nathan Carriere (Lauren), Nicholas Carriere (Darby) and Emily Wiebeck; his great grandchildren, Caroline, Cambree, Camille, Claire Kleinpeter and Aliza Jane Brazell; his brother Francis Ducote of Port Allen; his sister-in-law Sandra Ducote; and his goddaughter Monica Saizan (Travis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
