With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zelma King of Transylvania, Louisiana, born in Black Oak, Arkansas, who passed away on August 25, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Hutchins and Jessie Hatcher Hutchins; her husband Wayne King; her sisters, Monalie Pruitt and Ruby Wiles; her granddaughter Krystal King; and her grandson-in-law Clint Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry King (Melba), Debra Tuggle (Hurby), Ronald King (Dana) and Melissa Taves (Donavon); her sister Carolyn Rutledge; and her sister-in-law Kaye King. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren with one on the way; one great-great grandchild.
