He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Theresa Solar Nicholas; his daughter Shirley Nicholas; his grandson Jeremiah Harrigill; and his parents, Martin Nicholas and Dora Nicholas.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Nicholas and John Nicholas Jr. (Nickey); his grandsons, John, Jacob Harrigill and Kenneth Wright; his great-niece Emily Nicholas; Jaxson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tunica United Methodist Church (16428 Tunica Trace, St Francisville, LA 70775). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
