She was predeceased by: her son Derrick James Fusilier; and her parents, James "J. A." Causey and Genevieve King Causey. She is survived by: her husband Bennie Ducote of Clearwater; her children, Candice Serie (Dale) of Vidrine, Hannah Douget (Stephen) of Pine Prairie, Donavon Fusilier (Beyaica Thomas) of Ville Platte and Bennie Ducote, Jr. of Clearwater; and her grandchildren, Caroline Foret, Lyla Serie, Grayson Savoy, Ainsley Savoy, Oilver Douget, Anthony Fusilier, Kylee Fusilier and Waylon Fusilier.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First United Pentecostal Church (1057 Pine St, Turkey Creek, LA 70585). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Pythian Cemetery (Pecan St, Bunkie, LA 71322).
