He is survived by: his wife Verilyn Howard Melancon; his son Tristan Melancon Sr. (Ivyelle); his grandchildren, Tristan, Jr., Trey and Trinity; his daughter Jadian Mcpherson (Ronald Mcpherson, Sr.); his grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Rye, Royce and Autumn; his son Rance Melancon (Shavey); his grandchildren, Amyri, Amyni, Xayn and Micah; his siblings, Florence Roussell, Raymond Melancon, Larry Melancon (Linda), Steve Melancon (Debra) and Clinton Melancon (Rita); his aunt Eva Mae Melancon Hall (Lawrence); his mother-in-law Ethel Isom Howard; his stepchildren, Janeria Conerly, Alvin Conerly, Jr. and Alex Conerly; his stepgrandchildren, Micheal, Jaryan, Jont, Jacoby, Joshua, Jenia, Kaylyn, Isaiah, Elijah, Malachi, Daviva, Treshawn, A'Layja and A'Kayla Conerly; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Melancon, Shelia Melancon, Jennifer Howard, Isabelle Narcisse, Phyllis Nicholas, Melinda Howard, Sonya Howard, Curtis Castle, James Howard, Lawrence Howard, Arnold Howard, Rodney Howard, Kevin Howard, James Narcisse and Victor Nicholas. He is also survived by three children and 11 grandchildren.
