She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Ed" Gauthreaux; her child Dale Gauthreaux; her grandson Jay Ryan Gauthreaux; her parents, Severas Marse and Procla Falgout Marse; her parents-in-law, Alcide and Winnie LaCroix Gauthreaux; her sibling Severas "June" Marse; and her siblings-in-law, Wilson "Bob" Gauthreaux, Arthur "Bay" Gauthreaux, Ambrose "Petch" Gauthreaux, Kermit "Boy" Gauthreaux (Annette), Myrtle Ann Gauthreaux, William Delatte, Kelsey Hymel, Alcide Tregre and Dawn Marse.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Gauthreaux (Wanda), Mary Krohn (Rock) and Kevin Gauthreaux (Martha); her grandchildren, Donny Gauthreaux (Stephanie), Monique Bergeron, Angelle Tompkins (Michael), Andree Alleman (Ben), Eddie Gauthreaux (Camryn), Luke Gauthreaux, Brittany Rodriguez (Luis), Brooke Greenway (Richard), Casey Gauthreaux, Lance Bergeron and Kirsten Krohn St. Pierre; her siblings, Augustine Hymel "Teen", Leonard "Chris" Marse, Augustin "Jean" Marse, Bernard "Ben" Marse, Bernadette Marse Tregre and Rita Marse Delatte; and her daughters, Jeanne Adams and Susan Hotard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church (13281 LA-644, Vacherie, LA 70090). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
