He was predeceased by: his wife Iola Williams Dumas; his son Calvin Dumas; his siblings, Edwin Dumas, Henry Dumas, Lucille Steib, Emily Morton, Marie Oubre, Louise Young and Lillie Lewis; and his great grandchild Tiaschianna Dumas.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Dumas Pierre (Douglas Pierre), RoJae Dumas, Ronald Dumas, Sr. (Renee) and Edwin Dumas (Paula James); his grandchildren, Lakisa Pierre Jackson, Delissha Pierre Landry (Willie Landry, Jr.), Devon Pierre, Ja'Hara Pierre Lumar (Donrell Lumar, Sr), Taylor Pierre, Dr. Julie Dumas, Dr. Marcus Dumas, Ronald Dumas, Jr. and Dawnita Dumas; his great grandchildren, Jayla Johnson, Wintress Landry, Dailon Landry, Alaysia Sewire, Kendall Pierre, Devon Pierre, Jr., Donrell Lumar, Dillon Lumar, Noah Lumar, Nyile Lumar, Jay'Cien Nelson and Carter Ivy Love; his great great grandchildren, Reign and Radyn Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Patin (Ralph), Carolyn Williams, Maurice Williams, Jr., Raymond and Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
