He was predeceased by : his father Henry Dumas, Sr.; his son Gerald Dumas; and his siblings, Marie Oubre, Lucille Steib, Edwin Dumas, Louise Young and Emily Morton.
He is survived by : his wife Agnes Meyers Dumas; his children, Trina Burke (Emmanuel), Darlean Simon (Raphael) and Elliot Wooley (Karen); his siblings, Lille and Edward Dumas; and his siblings-in-law, Louise Wills and Edwin Meyers. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
