We announce the death of Thomas Waguespack of Vacherie, Louisiana, who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 91. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Vivian Faucheux; his parents, Francis Waguespack and Cecile Waguespack; and his siblings, Francis, Shirley, Albert, Allen Waguespack, Cecile Hymel and Mary Ann Borne.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Waguespack (Chantal), Kim Benoit (late Bryan Benoit), Connie Pittman (Gary), Lisa Becnel (Jude), Kelly Clayton (Daniel) and Mary Beth Gros (Carl); his grandchildren, Thomas Waguespack (Macie), Cameron Waguespack, Alanna, Philip Benoit (Taylor), Heidi P. Grashoff (Adam), Samantha Pittman, Emily Amedee (Peyton), Erin Becnel, Morgan, Jacob Clayton and Brandon Gros; and his siblings, Elaine Legendre, Charles Waguespack, Geraldine Waguespack, Wayne Waguespack and Barbara Wood.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (1175 LA-18, Vacherie, LA 70090). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
