He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Robins Magee; his sons, Wade Magee (Debbie) of Varnado and Clay Magee of Varnado; his grandchildren, Amber Burge (Chad) of Bogalusa, Adam Magee (Shana) of Varnado, Makayla Cooper (Quinton) of Bogalusa, Collin Magee (Kayleigh) of Hammond and Makenna Wager (Nick) of Franklinton; his great grandchildren, Kailee Thompson (Colby) of Columbia, Kinlee Hyatt (Byron) of Mt. Hermon, Evelyn Magee, Colston Cooper, Lainey Magee, Weston Cooper and Stetson Wager; and his great great grandchild Miller Hyatt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers Gus and his family ask that donations be made to the Lee's Creek Baptist Church music ministry fund.
