It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Whittington of Varnado, Louisiana, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Sacco and Phyllis Sacco; her brother Tony Sacco; her parents-in-law, Glynn Dale Whittington, Sr. and Mavis Whittington; and her siblings-in-law, James Whittington, Cecil Whittington, Baby Boy Whittington and Kathy Whittington Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Whittington; her brothers, Carmen Sacco (Sue), Larry Sacco (Cathy), Danny Sacco (Michelle), Kenny Sacco (Angie) and Stevie Sacco (Malinda); her brothers-in-law, Glynn Dale Whittington, Jr., Willie Whittington (Elvie) and Daniel Whittington (Rose); and her close friend Judy Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
