He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Mix; and his parents, Ida Mix, and Lelio Mix, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Mix (J'Nell), Debra Mix Lucas (Ernest) and Tammy Mix Jarreau (Joseph); his grandchildren, Karen Mix Grier, Wyatt Aaron Jarreau and Ashley Mix Hutchings; and his great grandchild Annie Jarreau.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Nilands Funeral Service (210 Westend Dr, New Roads, LA 70760). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (348 W Main St, New Roads, LA 70760).
