She was predeceased by: her parents, James Desmar Butler and Mary Johnson Butler (Husband-Charles L. Dew Sr.); her son Charles Dew Jr.; and her siblings, Donald Butler, James Leo Butler, Cecil Butler, Bill Butler, Essie Mae Wargo and Mary Keen Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, James Dew of Jackson, MS, Charolette Rivera (Rudy) of Vidalia, LA and Lynda Gayle Hathcox (William) of Natchez, MS.; and her great grandchildren, Jaimie Trujillo, Robert Pugh, Gabriel Rozell, Alex Rivera, Adreil Rivera and Daniel RIvera. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
