He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Campbell Dawkins; his parents, Ernest Eugene Dawkins, Sr. and Elsie McDuff Dawkins; and his brothers, Ernest Dawkins and Dr. Walter Erwin Dawkins II.
He is survived by: his son Stephen Imon Dawkins (Emily) of Ferriday; his grandson Michael Dustin Dawkins of Vidalia; his brother Stephen Fairley Dawkins of Vicksburg; and his grandchildren, Emma Dawkins, Olivia Dawkins, Bella Dawkins and Dru Dawkins.
