She is survived by: her children, Kendall Turner of Vidalia, LA, Edward Turner (Keia) of Kenner, LA and Ursula Carter (Jimmy) of Forney, TX; her siblings, Edna Horn of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Smith of Vidalia, LA, Jacqueline Smith of Houston, TX and James Curtis of Torrance, CA; her grandchildren, Cameron Carter, Cassidy Carter of Forney, TX, Chase Turner and Cole Turner of Kenner, LA; her siblings' children, Benita Horn, Beverly Horn-Simmons, Michelle Curtis, Andrea Curtis, Tammora Patrice Curtis Hunter, Latoya Danielle McCoy (Lee), Calvin Curtis (Debra), Darryl Bowman (Sheila), Keenan Curtis (Tsarina) and Marcus Smith; and her cousins, Renard Chatman and Willie Smith. She is also survived by cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church (813 Moose Lodge Rd, Vidalia, LA 71373). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
