The passing of Nora Palmer of Vidalia, Louisiana, born in Stephens, Arkansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 3, 2024 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Barkheimer and Naomi Dudley Barkheimer (Husband-James Byron Palmer); her children, Charlie Palmer and Patricia Greene; her grandchildren, Adam Hogue and Adeline Hogue; her brother Phillip "Buster" Barkheimer; and her sons-in-law, Dennis Randall and James "Skinny" Greene.

She is survived by : her daughter Mary Greene of Vidalia, LA; her grandchildren, Bruce Greene Jr. (Michelle) of Maddisonville, Jay Greene (Tamarin) of Clyde, TX, Justin Greene of Vidalia, LA, Johnny Lee (Kody) of Vidalia, LA, Buffy Greene of Livingston, LA and Jessica Greene of Abilene, TX; her son-in-law Bruce Greene Sr. "Fat Albert" of Vidalia, LA.; and her great great grandchildren, Justin Greene, Jay Greene, Bruce Greene, Conner Greene, Brad Jones and Johnny Lee Greene. She is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Vidalia First Baptist Church (100 N Hickory St, Vidalia, LA 71373). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
