With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby MAXINE Jones of Vidalia, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruby may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruby touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ameal Reese and Lucinda Brown Banks; her husband Opie Jones; and her brothers, John Banks and William Banks.
She is survived by: her sons, Craig Jones (Genia) of Humble, TX and Tremaine Jones (Jackie); her sister Deloris Brown; and her aunt Alberta Brown of Vidalia, LA. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
