He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Guy Whaley Jr. and Eula Morein Whaley; his brother Michael Whaley; and his grandson Lance Ardoin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Stagg Whaley of Whiteville; his children, Guy Whaley (Christy) of Sunset, Benjamin Whaley (Todd) of New Orleans and Amy Whaley Ardoin (Troy) of Whiteville; his siblings, Tim Whaley (Sherry) of Lafayette and Sandra Fontenot (Kenneth) of Sunset; his grandchildren, Zachary Ardoin (Macie), Lyndsey Ardoin, Peyton Reed (Bryan), Ashton Whaley (Cameron), Christian Whaley and Carmen Whaley; and his great grandchildren, Nolan Reed, Vivian Reed, Charlotte Reed, Mary Michael Whaley and Harper Ardoin.
