He was predeceased by: his parents, Yves "Duffy" Soileau and Valerie Lafleur Soileau; and his nephew Douglas Anthony "Smokey" Deville. He is survived by: his wife Kitty Boyce Soileau; his children, Haley Bordelon (Lucas) and Ryan Soileau (Ashley); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Lila, Linus, Henry, Charlotte and Piper; and his siblings, Dr. Tommy Soileau, Louisa Deville (Doug) and Stewart Soileau (Susie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery (1401 S Chataignier Rd, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
