He is survived by : his daughter Brandy Gilmore Williams of Gonzales, LA; his siblings, Verna Mae Beal of Hammond, LA, Hester Popillion of Eunice, LA, Annie Bradley of Ville Platte, LA, Milton Chapman of Baton Rouge, LA, Linton Chapman Jr. of Morgan City, LA and Raymond Chapman of Eunice, LA; and his grandchild Brielle Wilkins of Gonzales, LA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ninth Baptist Church (726 N Latour St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
