It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Deville of Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roylis Deville and Hazy Fontenot Deville; and her sister Nazel Deville. She is survived by: her husband Farrell W. Fontenot of Ville Platte; her son James Neal O'Connor of Ville Platte; her brother Nason Deville of Kenner; her granddaughters, Courtney Causey, Victoria Strickland and Brianna O'Connor; her great grandchild RayAnne Causey (Cooper Causey); and her stepgrandchildren, Aaron Castete and Kaitlyn Fontenot.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 8:00 AM, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 8:50 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Freedom Family Church (216 Chicot Park Rd, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1012 W Dardeau St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
