He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Soileau; his stepfather Irving Soileau; his father Burleigh Ryder; his daughter Jeanica Ryder; and his sisters, Mandy Douget and Danette Ryder.

He is survived by: his children, Tabitha Ryder, Chase Jeansonne (Jennifer Latiolais), Corey Ryder and Turnice Ryder; his siblings, Debbie Fulton (Cliff) and Mitch Soileau; his grandchildren, Michayla Ryder, Morgan Ryder, Gavin Ryder, Alex Guidrov, Layla Guidrov, Matthew Latiolais, Aidan Jeansonne, Chase Jeansonne, Noah Ryder, Colby Gartman and Jeanica Gartman; and his stepchildren, Martin Jeansonne, Brian Jeansonne and Marcus Jeansonne.
