She was predeceased by: her husband John Allen Martin; her daughter Mary Beth; her parents, Ernest Potier and Monique Potier; her siblings, Bradley Pothier and Lucy Guidroz; her grandson Clinton Griffith; and her stepgrandson Quincy Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Martin Smith (Greg) of Bayou Chicot, LA and John Eric Martin (Eileen Martin) of Lafayette, LA; her grandchildren, Caine Griffith (Rhonda Griffith) of Lafayette, LA, Daniel Martin of Lafayette, LA, Shawn Codi Griffith of Pinehurst, TX and Holly Martin of Lafayette, LA; and her stepgrandson Dreux Smith of Green River, WY. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fountain Memorial Funeral Home (1010 Pandora St, Lafayette, LA 70506). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
