He is survived by: his daughter Simone Manuel Almon (Matthew Almon); his grandchildren, June, Ames and Amelie of New Orleans, Louisiana; his daughter Briane Manuel Jones (Tom Jones) of Everett; his granddaughters, Josephine, Eloise and Adeline; and his siblings, Anne Lafleur of Ville Platte, Louisiana and Timothy Manuel of Ville Platte, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
