With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Vidrine Jr. of Ville Platte, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eddison Vidrine, Sr. and Ivenail Frankus Vidrine. He is survived by: his wife Betty Brown Vidrine; his children, Thomas Edison Vidrine of Bayou Chicot, Jamie Lee Vidrine (Sherry) of Ville Platte, Jessica Vidrine (Sterling) of Bayou Chicot, Joann Vidrine and Peggie Vidrine; and his grandchildren, Maci and Carson Vidrine. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
