He is survived by: his wife Meredith Thomas Fussell Taylor; his stepchild Terry Warren Fussell; and his daughter Cheryl Taylor Self (Lynn Self).
He also started several security companies, using the money he made to buy land and to build churches that he would later donate to the congregations he helped start from the ground up.
