He was predeceased by: his parents, F. M. Hale and Chetta Hale; and his sisters, Edith Weddel and Cindy Rushing. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Faye; his children, Tony Hale (Melanie), Sonya Tyson (Paul) and Michael Hale (Sue Swarers); his siblings, Johnny Hale, Nathan Hale, Louann Barlow and Merry Wenzel; his grandchildren, Sam Tyson (Kourtney), Quade Hale (Alaina), Zachary Tyson (Haley), Olivia Steiner (Jason), Hayden Linn, Lucas Hale (Ragan) and John Mark Hale (Cheyanne); and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
